連接 Brooklyn(布魯克林)到 Stanten Island(史坦頓島)的
Verrazano Bridge(韋拉札諾海峽大橋)是不存在的。
如果他們要去 Stanten Island(史坦頓島),
甚至,我們並不來自同一個 dimension(空間)。
------------------------------------------------
YouTube: Mandela Effect - NEW bridges in New York City (1:32-3:17)
----------1:32-3:17 -------------------
I always thought that the only bridge connecting Staten Island to the rest of the USA
was the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to Brooklyn
And the only other way to get to Staten Island was the ferry
I always used to look at maps of NYC back then
particularly the other side of the subway map
because it showed transportation for the entire New York City metro area
and I never saw any other bridges on Staten Island
However, I just recently found out that there are four
Were these other bridges always there?
And, my answer to you, Chris, is no
These bridges were never there, so we're gonna take a look now
Totally mind-blown; I couldn't believe it
If we go to Google, we type in how many bridges connect to Staten Island
you will get an answer of four bridges
And umm, here we go
This is the Outerbridge Crossing
We go a little bit north
This is the Goethals Bridge - I don't know how to pronounce it
And here is a Bayonne Bridge
These bridges did not exist whatsoever guys
This is amazing
There was only one bridge connecting to Staten Island and it was this one
It was the Verrazano Bridge which is from Brooklyn
This is Brooklyn over here
And it was only Brooklyn and the only other way to get to Staten Island was a ferry
though I mean the… the location and the size of Staten Island has changed
Staten Island was never this close to New Jersey
YouTube: I promise you haven't seen a Mandela Effect Video like this one! (1:07:12-1:13:00)
-----------1:07:12-1:13:00---------
I'm in the Mandela Effect and can't get out!
I know I haven’t been at here in a while.
This Mandela effect is affecting me big time.
And I almost having trouble functioning.
And I know that there’s something happening with me
and I know others have spoken about it.
I don’t have anything to prove that I’m being affected majorly,
and I really don’t know what to do about this.
I’m just pretty much staying low
and trying to… I’m pretty much existing at this point,
and everything around me is changing to the point where –
I actually got a photograph to prove the change that I’m dealing with.
I want to tell you about a dream I had about a month ago
and this pertains to it
I woke up – this was a dream.
I woke up in the morning
And in my house and I started to walk toward the living room
and when I did, I looked out the window
and I noticed I’m in a strange town, a very strange town,
and the road I live on was a two-lane highway, was kind of busy –
bumper cars going, very noisy, loud,
the town was kind of shabby and run down,
I didn’t like it.
And when I looked out the picture window
I said, “Oh, I don’t like this, I don’t’ like this one bit”.
And with that I said, “Something has changed,”
and I just kept on saying how “I don’t like this, I don’t like this”,
and I looked out my backyard
and it was nothing like it is now.
like there was a road in the back of the street
and my yard was real small,
and I just hated it.
And I just woke up out of the dream but it was so intense –
it's so vivid in my mind what it all looked like.
Maybe I can get a couple of pictures that kind of resemble what I saw.
So I knew that it was kind of a Mandela effect,
I went into this realm.
I don’t want to go back there wherever that is,
and I know the Holy Spirit is trying to show me something.
So you know I just kind of forgot about the dream,
although I keep on thinking about it.
Finally a couple of days ago
my husband who knows nothing about the Mandela effect comes in
and says, “Come and look out this back window, did you ever see this house so close to us?”
And as soon as he said that,
I jumped up and ran to the back into the dining room and looked out the window
and I never saw that house in our backyard, never.
I knew there was a house way over on the other road
that you kind of can see vaguely like if they leave a light on in their backyard –
that’s all, but I had no idea.
When I went there I saw the whole house,
I mean it’s just like it is sitting there right in our backyard, and I’m flipping.
Of course, my husband doesn’t want any part of anything strange like that,
he can’t deal with it and most people can’t.
I told my sister about it,
she can’t deal with it either.
They don’t want to talk about it.
So I took my camera out and I just pointed it out the window –
I went through the window to get it
because as things are, I thought it could disappear right before my eyes,
so I took it as quick as I could.
And this is what it looked like –
Now do you see the house there?
It’s clear!
There’s a house back there right?
Well then a few hours later
I was really, didn’t like to look out at that window again,
and... I looked out, the house is gone.
It probably went back where it originally was,
but when that happened, I’m thinking
“Yea, there’s something really going on with me”
I mean, I know there’s others,
but when you can actually take pictures of something like that
and see it happening right before your eyes,
if you don’t think that that’s something weird.

YouTube: Mandela Effect Example? "My Wife Is Not My Original Wife!" - Open Eyes Network News (1:05-5:53)
------1:05-5:53---------
So let's get started with this
Now, Jolene and I have known each other for quite a number of years
and we've been married for quite a number of years
in fact we're coming into 8 years together here very shortly
So, we've been knowing each other for a very long period of time
Now that being said, she and I know each other extremely well
For me, personally, I hate Ketchup and I love mustard
and this is gonna sound like a weird one
but this is the way that this is, okay?
I hate Ketchup but I love mustard
I cannot stand Ketchup; I can't even really even stand the smell of Ketchup
The only thing that I've ever eaten Ketchup on basically is either like
sometimes you'll go to a fast food restaurant
and they'll come with Ketchup on it and that kind of thing
Most of the time I order it without Ketchup
but if I'm in a real hurry
I'll just get the burger as it is and… and suffer through the Ketchup basically
Umm or like basically on a French fry once maybe every couple of years
one French fry maybe we'll have a little bit of Ketchup on it
Other than that, meatloaf is the only other thing that I will ever have Ketchup on
And that was because I grew up with Ketchup on meatloaf
But I'd prefer it with just plain old tomato paste
Now that being said again, I love mustard, hate Ketchup. However…
I remember it is different!
Yes! Now go ahead and explain your side of it
I remember that when we first lived together
Now not living together I didn't really notice this so much
But when we first lived together
I remember it being a thing of you liked Ketchup pretty much as much as I do
I'm kind of a condiment person, I like both Ketchup and mustard
If I have a sandwich, it's usually both Ketchup and mustard
You definitely prefer Ketchup over the two then?
I always did, yes, umm just because I like tomatoes a lot
So yeah, Ketchup goes along, yeah
Umm, but yeah, I always liked Ketchup
and I distinctly remember that you and I both like Ketchup pretty well
Not to say that you didn't like mustard
but you preferred Ketchup, like I remember
‘cause you're a sandwich guy
Yeah
是啊
and I remember you… you would make your salami sandwiches with cheese
and then you would put Ketchup on it
or just salami and whatever other meats
and you put Ketchup on it, you know, I remember that
And I remember that you would, you know, dip fries and Ketchup and yeah I remember that
And then not long ago, but what would you say be like a…
A year?
一年?
A year, yeah, that's what you can say about a year ago, maybe even less than that
I started to notice that you didn't really use the Ketchup
and you used only the mustard
And that's when you said
Oh, I hate… I hate Ketchup, I don't like Ketchup
Right, I thought, wait a minute
‘cause we always… you always had Ketchup
‘cause it used to kind of be that, you know, the kids didn't really… weren't too much into condiments
Yeah, they might have Ketchup on their sandwiches
but it's like a dot and that's kind of an “if” for them you know
And so you and I were the major Ketchup users
‘cause your mom doesn't like Ketchup
And now it's switched, and now you only do the mustard
and I'm kind of the only Ketchup person, me and Seth
Seth
Right
對
So, yeah, it's… ‘cause I remember when I first moved in
we went through Ketchup a lot
and it was because there was you and me using it
Both of us were using it
Yeah, and now… now we're not… we're not going through it as much
because it's not you and me
It's just pretty much just me and Seth and occasionally Crystal
and between the three of us we don’t really go through that much, so…
Right. And on my part of things, in my memory and in my experience, I have never ever done that
I would never, under any circumstances
put Ketchup on to a salami sandwich
that just sounds absolutely disgusting to me
And see? I distinctly remember it, yeah, I do I distinctly remember you doing it
So what this means? I mean, what this really breaks down to you guys?
And this is where it gets really weird but what this breaks down to is that
I am not the Ira that Jolene started off with
Ira
and she is not the Jolene that I started off with
Jolene
So even though we've been continuously married, continuously together
she is actually, technically speaking, a different person
because she's had a different set of experiences with a different Ira
Because it's either it's either both of us are crazy
both of us are liars
or this is the case, that we are from maybe, perhaps different realities from each other
or something along those lines

-----------7:09~8:55----------
But I have never in my experiences ever had a like for Ketchup
Yeah, which is just weird for me
‘cause I distinctly have one memory of you
You made a salami, like I said
salami and cheese sandwich with Ketchup
Yeah, with Ketchup, it just sounds disgusting
And I thought it sounded weird
umm ‘cause I'm not really a sandwich person so if I do have Ketchup
it's very… it's very rare
But yeah, anyways so… you had a salami and cheese sandwich with Ketchup
and I thought that was a little weird
And you're like, oh yeah it's not too bad, plus you had your spices of course
and yeah, you're like, here try it
and I was like okay, yeah yeah
So because of that, for a while, I started eating salami and cheese sandwiches with Ketchup on it
because it wasn't too bad
I prefer bologna and Ketchup but it was… it was a nice little change
But I distinctly remember that… that you would fry up some salami
and put cheese on it and put Ketchup on it
Ugh, ugh, ugh…
Yeah and that's weird for me here that you don't like it
‘cause I… I distinctly remember you…
You distinctly remember it right
…making it at least once - more than once really
but I distinctly remember you making it
Yup, yup, very, very weird experience I don't know
like I said it's just one of those things that I think implicates the whole Mandela effect
in a whole different direction
than what people are kind of standardly looking at it with umm…
I do think that, you know, when it comes to most people if...
if you know a person long enough
and all of a sudden they don't seem like they like something like they used to
it could be a similar situation like what we have
and it's just because we're more aware of the Mandela effect
where it's more popping out
YouTube: Mandela Effect Example? "The Grave of My Sister" (1:08-8:30)
---------1:08-8:30--------
Okay, well, let me kind of rewind it a little bit
and just kind of give you a little idea of things
I had three brothers
And I knew who they were
but I had no sisters
My mom and me, we were living with a boyfriend of hers
And I was young, I was between - I don't know for sure how old I was when this happened
I was either between kindergarten and second grade
I want to say, I was in first or second though
And I really wanted a sister because I didn't have any sisters, I only had brothers
So I remember distinctly that I would pray for a sister
You know, I would just keep thinking of, I want a sister, I want a sister
I hope that my mom and her boyfriend
I hope they have, you know, a baby and I hope it's a sister
you know, I just really wanted a sister
And I remember, there was one day that my family and I
we went to this place, I didn't know where we were going
and we get to this place and it's like fall time
and there's leaves on the ground and we're at a graveyard
And we're walking around
No, actually, I think I was getting kindergarten
because I couldn't read very well
I was probably in kindergarten, maybe first grade, I don't know
Right, we’re around there
Yeah, I couldn't read very well, I just remember that part
And it was, I remember it was me and my cousin
and we're back… we're the same age
I'm only like a month older than my cousin
We're there and we're looking around at the different graves
We're not straying too far from the adults
And I remember my aunts and uncles were consoling my mom
and they're like, just giving her a hug and they’re like, I'm so sorry
And I kind of standing around this one grave
And I don't understand why, and the family also comes up to me
and they're like, I'm so sorry, Jolene, and they hugged me
And I'm just like, okay ‘cause I have no idea what's going on
why they're saying, I'm sorry
And we're looking at all these different graves
And we don't know who any of these people are
And me and my cousin, we eventually get over to the grave
And it's a like a black marble grave
It's got dark grey, dark - almost a black
It's the flat type ones right
Yeah, it's got the silver specs to it, the grey specs to it
Right
對
And had a picture of a girl
And I recognized the picture of the girl
but I didn't, I couldn't put, you know, I didn't know who she was
but the picture of her looked familiar
And then the first name, me and my cousin kind of figured out, the name is Stephanie
Stephanie
but the last name, we had no idea how to pronounce it
We couldn't figure it out, and it wasn't a name we recognized
So we didn't know who this person was
and why everyone's focused on this one grave
And I remember that I went home that night
and my mom was tucking me in
and she said, you know that lady that grave that we saw?
I said, yeah
She said, do you know who that was
I said no
And she said that was your sister
And it was just a big shock ‘cause I never knew I had a sister
I knew that I had, I'm sorry, I knew that I had my brothers
but I didn't know that I had my sister
So it was just a big shock to me
to find out that I had a sister and I didn't even know it
And to find out the night that I saw her grave
and I was there and I didn't even know that that's who she was
So it was a big shock to me
And after she said that
I started remembering seeing pictures of her
when we lived before we moved into the boyfriend’s house
Now what's interesting is years later
See, we never really talked about her after that
And I remember years later, I was just casually talking to my mom
and mentioning, oh, yeah, I remember going to see the grave
My mom’s like, what do you mean
and so I tried to describe to her you know
yeah, I remember I was going there
And me and my cousin, we were walking around
We didn't know who these people were
We couldn't even pronounce half the names
and we could figure out what her first name was
We really couldn't figure out how to pronounce the last name
because she has a different last name than me
‘cause she has a different dad to me
And she says, no, you've never been to the grave
I said, well, then how come I remember this
she says, I don't know, but you've never seen the grave before
and I described to her what the grave looked like
And then she pulls out, you know, she goes ahead and brings out pictures
and she's like, this is what it looks like
Now I'm like, yeah, that's what I was saying
and she's like, you are right
just like, how did you know what it looked like
when you've never seen it
So it was just, she couldn't understand how it is that I had seen it
because she was buried, she's from and she was buried and at a completely different state than we live in
So that was the huge, you know...
Right, so why the family members were there?
Your cousin was there, everybody was there
and yet you don't have any memory of going on a trip to a different state
You don't have any memory of coming back home after this event occurred
Nothing like that ever, you know, it was a very short trip...
Yeah it was a short trip
…from home to the grave and back
There's no interstate travel going on with all of it
And yet, then your mother tells you you've never been to the grave
Yet, you know that you were at the grave
Yeah, which is interesting because like I said that was the only day that we ever talked about her
Right
對
because at that point in time I was I want to die, I was hurt, and crushed that
You had a sister, but didn't know it
Yeah, it took her death for me to find out that I had a sister
I knew I had my one brother
and I knew that my one brother who
at that point in time I don't think I had even met him yet
and but he was put up for adoption
Right
是的
But I knew about him but I didn't know about this sister
who is actually a sibling to my one brother that I saw every year
So it just didn't make any sense to me
Why it is that every Christmas, my one brother would come down and visit us
and yet, this sister of mine that just died
they were a full brother and sister
Right
對
so how is it she didn't, you know, why didn't she come down
So… I don’t know, it's just confusing
Right, a very bizarre experience that I think could fall within this whole Mandela effect
You experience something that is outside of the memories of those that are around you that you tried to speak to about this
They didn't have the same experience that you did
And yet you have this distinctive memory of the experience
That's what the Mandela effect is all about

YouTube:Mandela Effect Example? "My Sister No Longer Exists" (1:53-8:35)
Now one day me and my mother we went to this strip mall that had a hair-cutting place there
so we went there and we went to walk inside
and just as we were walking inside
there's this woman that comes up in my mom
recognizing her and they start talking immediately
Now this woman is mixed and there's a reason I point this out and I'll explain in a minute
but she's mixed and my mom and her, they're talking
They're just like, oh, my gosh, it's been so long and
the lady looks at me and she's like, wow
you've grown so much, I can't believe it
and I'm like, I just haven't seen you
I've lost touch with you, I'm so sorry
and you're clueless as to who that person is
...I have no idea who this person is
and they, I mean, they hug and she even gives me a hug
and I'm just like, I don't know who this person is and I'm in an awkward position
'cause I don't know who this person is
and, yeah, so she goes to, you know, leave and my mom explains to me, that's your sister
I said, what?
She said, yeah, that's your sister
and I'm looking at my mom and I'm looking at her or you know where she had left through
and I said, she's mixed, it's like so you had...
and she said, no, no, we had adopted
I don't know for sure if she was meaning foster or just full-out adopted
'cause she made it sound like they took her in when she was quite older
and that's why she was quite older when I had seen her
She was at least in her 20s when I had seen her
so, yeah, she had mentioned that the husband that she was with before my dad
they had adopted her and then they had my brother and sister, Stephanie
Stephanie
So finding this out, it's like, okay
well, I didn't know I had the other sister Stephanie
Stephanie
until the day I saw her grave
so now I see this sister, that's an adopted sister, but it's still sibling of one sense or another
And I asked my mom flat out
do I have any other siblings that I don't know about?
and she's like, no, no, that's it, that's it
and I'm like, okay, hope so
You know, I mean at this point just as she didn't tell me about Stephanie
and now I don't know, you know, I don't even know what this lady's name was
I didn't really catch what her name was
and see the other strange thing is
she was mixed and my mom is racist
Yes, she's very racist
My mom is racist so the fact that she took in
and always has been racist
Granted she was in full black or anything but she was mixed
She was, you know, definitely black roots to her
so that was the biggest thing that really stuck out to me too
It's like, wait, you took in this person and yet you're as racist as I see you be
This doesn't make any sense to me
so the whole thing just made no sense to me
but she's like, yeah, she's your sister
and so I, you know, we talked about it
We got our hair done, way home we talked about it some more
and it's just the weird...
She described her to you, I mean, the things that happened in the past with her
I mean she kind of gave a breakdown of the story
Yeah, like you said, they took her in before they had...
What I'm saying though is this is what she told you about, you know
Yeah, that's what I'm saying
Yeah, she told me that they, you know that, they adopted her
and before my mom had my sister Stephanie and my brother, that's truth, that's been
and you know that she was already older
and she wasn't in the house and like by the time my brother and sister were of a certain age
she was already out of the house kind of thing
Right, she grew up or graduated and moved out
Yeah, so you know I just and I asked, you know, how come I didn't see her
and she admitted that after she moved out, they didn't really keep in contact with each other
You know, it was kind of just a short-term thing
Since it was just like a few years, I don't really know the time frame
It was just a confusing mess for me to try and figure it out
but since it was such a short time period by the time she left
it was kind of a cutting of the ties and she just kind of became her own independent woman
Now, years later, I try to bring it up again
and ask her what this lady's name is
My mom's like, what the hell are you talking about?
and it's so awkward to try and ask, you know
so what's the name of that mixed person that you had adopted
What are you talking about?
To a very racist person
Exactly, I mean it was so awkward
'cause I, you know, I started out confidently, you know
what about, you know, the one sister that you had adopted with, you know, husband before my dad
She's like, what are you talking about, we didn't adopt anyone
but so then I tried asking her, you know, so, who was that we had seen one day we went to get our hair cut and there was this lady
and she was mixed, she gave hugs
she said I was related to her in some way, shape or form
She says I have no idea what you're talking about
you know, and she couldn't even think of the person that I was trying to explain
I said, so who is this person then
If I am just mistaken that she was my sister, adopted sister, but either way, a sister
you know, who was she then?
and she says, you know me, Jolene, I wouldn't, you know
She couldn't think of who it is
She's like, I wouldn't hug someone like that, you know
Right, because again she was almost like full-on KKK kind of style racist
Yeah, in her, in her beliefs, yeah, and it definitely not the same way for you but...
No, but, yeah, so it was just, okay, so why is it that I remember seeing this person
We had this conversation
and I just infuriated me to think, okay, so you didn't tell me about my other sister
and now I found out I have another sister
because this happened before I found out
that my mom says I never visited the grave of my sister Stephanie
This was before that time period too
